Theodore J. Tabor, Jr. won the $1 million top prize on Thursday, May 11 in the new Monopoly 50X instant game.
Tabor chose to cash out his prize and received a prize check of $650,000 before taxes. He plans to use part of his windfall on home repairs.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Dairy Mart at 160 Squire Road in Revere. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus on the sale.
Two $1 million prizes are still available. The chance of winning the top prize in the Monopoly 50X game is one in 2,688,000.
